This week was the first Bill Bateman's Bistro: Havre de Grace Facebook contest ever! I am proud to say I am the designer and Social Media Manager of this first contest! The image to the left is the graphic I designed for the $50 Bill Bateman's gift card giveaway. I created it with Microsoft Paint.
This is a standard gift card giveaway. I am currently using the third party affiliate Offerpop to run the contest for 14 days.
The caption for the contest is as followed:
In celebration of Bill Bateman's Bistro Havre de Grace 5th Anniversary, we have decided to give away a $50 Bill Bateman's Bistro Gift Card to one lucky winner. With the gift card you can enjoy our delicious food and drinks at your convenience.
The contest will start on Monday April 8, 2013 and end on Sunday April 21, 2013.

All Internet users are required to Like the Facebook page prior to entering the contest. The submission page requires the first name, last name and email address from all participants. They have the option to sign up for the monthly Bill Bateman's newsletter as well.
I am applying Facebook ad promotions to the contest to drive upengagement. Hopefully it will make this contest a success. On Monday April 8,2013 we started with 540 Likes. As of Thursday night we are at 586 Likes on Facebook ( with a delay of Facebook Promotion pending).
UPDATE: Facebook fans increased from 540 -647 in 14 days ( Started April 8,2013). Next giveaway start: May 2nd. Ends May 31st.
