Don’t want to deal with the heat that comes with baking in the kitchen? If yes, try these no bake cake truffles! They are delicious and you won’t break a sweat.
You will need:
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup of your favorite cake mix
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
3-4 Tablespoons milk
2 Tablespoons sprinkles
For your Truffle Coating:
16 ounces (8 squares) almond bark (or white candy melts)
4 Tablespoons of cake mix
sprinkles
To create your truffles beat your butter and sugar together until they are combined. Next, add your cake mix, flour, salt and vanilla. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together. If dough needs better consistency, add 3 tablespoons of milk.
Thirdly,add in your sprinkles and roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Place your dough balls onto a wax paper lined cookie sheet. Your balls will need to chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or more to firm them up.
For the truffle coating, melt the bark in the microwave for 30 second intervals. Stir after every necessary interval. Once the bark is melted, stir in cake mix and dip your truffles into the melted almond bark.
After all truffles are covered with the chocolate, top them with sprinkles.Recipe should make about 30 truffles.
