Caramel macchiato is a favorite for coffee lovers. Here at Fromgirltogirl.com, it’s a coffee shop drink we give to friends, family, and colleagues when people are undecided on what they want to drink. When I was a girl, my grandparents would say: “My treat.”
It meant there was something good to eat or drink at the shop or store but you could also make at home. I love to do both for my husband and kids.

Measures local authorities can take to improve health care
Cities need clean air, good public transportation, bike lanes, trails in the city or nearby, access to many green public spaces, and access to good healthy food (farmer markets, etc. – no food deserts). Cities, where retail and living spaces are integrated, are also on average healthier, I think.

What are the most important factors to consider in choosing a city that is good for your health?
I think the first and foremost factor is the accessibility of healthcare resources. The quality of healthcare facilities and the availability of medical professionals are important for maintaining health. Environmental factors like air quality and climate are always a consideration before choosing a city. City infrastructure such as well-maintained sidewalks, bike lanes, trails, gyms, community centers, and sports clubs can also contribute to the decision.

Local authorities could improve our cities and states by making outdoor environments more welcoming to people. First, walkable cities and appropriate infrastructure help individuals engage with their communities and socialize across socio-economic strata. Second, reducing pollution and providing an opportunity for their citizens to engage with their physical environment is a way to improve the well-being of their constituents.
Key Stats
Fremont, California, has the lowest share of physically unhealthy adults, 6.20 percent, which is 2.8 times lower than in Newark, New Jersey, the city with the highest at 17.60 percent.
Laredo, Texas, has the lowest cost per doctor’s visit, $65.00, which is 3.6 times less expensive than in Juneau, Alaska, the city with the highest at $235.22.

In order to identify the overall healthiest cities in the U.S., WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across four key dimensions: 1) Health Care, 2) Food, 3) Fitness and 4) Green Space. The sample considers only the city proper in each case and excludes cities in the surrounding metro area.
We evaluated the four dimensions using 43 relevant metrics, which are listed below with their corresponding weights. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for a healthy lifestyle. Data for metrics marked with an asterisk (*) were available at the state level only. For metrics marked with two asterisks (**), we calculated the population size using the square root of the population in order to avoid overcompensating for minor differences across cities.

New York takes the crown for the U.S. area most keen for a luxury vacation. Florida and Connecticut follow in second and third place.
Yacht charter experts Ritzy Charters have analyzed Google Trends data to discover the level of interest in each area for multiple search terms including luxury vacation, luxury resort, and luxury vacation rentals.
New York is a tourist hot spot offering an abundance of luxurious activities such as Fifth Avenue shopping and extravagant hotels.
A spokesperson from Ritzy Charters has commented on the findings: “There are many factors that can take your vacation to the next level of luxury, including a five-star hotel, first class transport, and a spectacular destination – and what’s clear in the study is that the East Coast is keen for an extravagant getaway, given that all ten of the areas in the top ten belong to this region. However, it’s interesting that some states are considering different types of vacations to others, such as New Jersey searching for resorts while Florida searches for an adventure at sea; it goes to show that you aren’t limited for options when you’re searching for a luxury escape, and there’s something out there for everyone.”
The study was conducted by Ritzy Charters, specialists in chartering yachts who offer sailing experiences in a variety of locations from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean.
Methodology
Google Trends data was used to discover the level of interest in each area on a score out of 100 for multiple search terms. The scores for all 11 terms in every area were given an average to determine which were the most interested in a luxury vacation.
Search terms used: ‘luxury resorts’ ‘yacht charter’ ‘first class airlines’ ‘luxury vacation rentals’ ‘luxury vacation’ ‘5 star resorts’ ‘5 star hotels’ ‘luxury villa’ ‘luxury travel’ ’luxury cruise’ ‘luxury yacht’

They used these factors to create a 10-point scale in order to rank the results.
A spokesperson for FamilyDestinationsGuide had this to say about the findings: “Overseas travel is expensive, and since 2019, staycations have seen a 16% increase in searches. The research shows that people in the U.S. are looking more towards home than away for their holidays. “

These cities can provide value for money, with Tulsa’s average hotel price coming in at $531.43.
The data also highlights the coastal cities in the U.S. however, inland cities such as Tucson are beginning to rise in popularity. It will be interesting to see if this will result in more footfall and development.
Methodology
The top 50 cities in the U.S by population were gathered from World Population Review. Using Kayak, the average price for a hotel room for 2 adults and 2 children from a Friday night for 3 nights was calculated.
The hotels were all 3 stars or higher and rated ‘good’ or better.
The maximum hotel price was $2500 including fees and local taxes. Then, TripAdvisor totals for restaurants and attractions (using the ‘good for kids’ toggle) were used to calculate a ‘per 100k’ total.
This was then converted into a ten-point scale in order to give a final score out of 10.
