Double standards are condemned by the same religious code you say you value yet Deuteronomy 25,13-15 states to not have double standards: ” Do not have 2 different measures – one large, one small . Do not have two different weights & measures so that you may live long in the land God has given you.”So when a man justifies mistreating a woman simply because she’s a woman …throw that at him. This includes verbal , emotional & physical abuse. No man is God & you never have to settle like you’re less than.

My Thoughts on MLK Day
Happy Birthday Dr.Martin Luther King jr. Thank you for changing America for all people,not just Black people. When I was young people use to call it a black holiday and write excuse notes from ceremonies so their children wouldnt have to attend a black holiday. I hope now these same children pick up a book and learn what was accomplished and still needs to be accomplished. Dont continue the trends your parents promoted. I like to be a trend setter, not a follower. Please do service on Monday. Without the actions that were done I wouldnt have gone to schools i have attended with diverse people , minds and cultures. I wouldnt work around people I am glad I came across in my life. God bless everyone with knowledge. If you have a dream, you have to protect. If you want something, go get it. Period. Repeat daily. Never be afraid to fail because you learn to succeed through the stepping stones of failure. Religion Corner: Justification of War
Sometimes the text in religious books make me think. Tonight I was reading from the Bible and the Quran. There are rules to why Muslims should fight a war for Islam( defend life and defend land) and when to stop. Then in the Bible it says the same thing in Chapter 10 Matthew. To be honest the rules for war can be approved for both Christians and Muslims. Politics blended with religion. That is a mixture for disaster. In Matthew 10:34 Jesus discusses that his coming was not to bring peace to the world but a sword.
What is the purpose of war? Is war better than peace or used when peace fails to succeed to bring tolerance of each other?
What is so grand about war and violence? Why war? O_O
