Scandal Gladiators it is almost time!

You have no idea how much I’ve been missing the TV show Scandal. What can I say? I love me some Olivia Pope and I cannot wait to see what’s in store. Will the script put Kerry Washington’s real pregnancy into the story as Olivia Pope being a mom as well?

Will Jake turn to the dark side ( I hope not. I don’t want him to become a villain)?

What will happen to Papa Pope and Mama Pope?

Check out the promo for Scandal season 3 now:

Homemade: Pan Baked Pizza

Pan Baked Pizza

Tonight for dinner I decided to get creative and make homemade pan baked pizza. It’s my first time making homemade pizza and it’s delicious. My pan baked pizza includes red onions, garlic, tomato sauce with herbs, portobello, mozzarella cheese and crushed peppers. I made one for each person.

I am very proud of myself ( you can choose your own toppings), but here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

Bread flour
1 packet of instant yeast
1 ½ tsp salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 ¾ hot water
Cheese
Olives

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.

Add the flour, salt and yeast to your mixer. Have your mixer set on low. You should use the dough hook.

Add olive oil and tepid water.

You should let your mixture rest for 5 minutes to make your dough come together.

After the minutes of rest have passed, knead your mixture for another 8 to 10 minutes.

While your mix is kneading, spray your bakeware with olive oil or wipe your bakeware with butter.

You should let your mixture rise for an hour in a greased bowl. Then let it stand for 30 minutes at room temperature. After 30 minutes have passed, roll out your dough and make your pizzas.

You should bake your pizzas for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy.

Natural Beauty tips: The Benefits of an Orange Exfoliating Scrub

Orange facial scrub

Do you want healthier and more vibrant skin? Most of us do. You can  have healthier and more vibrant skin by using all natural exfoliating scrubs. One of my favorite all natural exfoliating scrubs are oranges. Not only do I love eating oranges but I also love using oranges to maintain  health skin.

Oranges are great for your skin health  because the citrus fruits include a rich source of Vitamin C, which is known for creating vibrant skin.

All natural exfoliating scrubs work! Learn more on the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/fromgirltogirl

I always feel extra refreshed and radiant after my daily orange exfoliating scrub. I do it first thing in the morning and right before bed to help me feel  energized.

It’s easy to make your very own orange exfoliating home right at home. Here’s what you will need:

  • 1 orange
  • 4tbsp of cornmeal
  • A bowl
  • Spoon
  • And a juicer

Once you have all your ingredients, start peeling away ( save those peels). Next, squeeze the juice and pulp of the orange into your bowl ( you can also use your juicer).

Afterwards, add your 4tbsp of cornmeal into the bow of orange mix. This will help you form a paste.

Use the orange exfoliation scrub during your show or bath to clean your whole body. You can also do a quick facial  with your orange exfoliation scrub, if you’re on the go. It only takes a 3 minute scrub to really benefit from the all natural exfoliation scrub.

Each mixture will only last two days because it will spoil. The fresher your mix, the better your skin results. I try to make a new batch every few days.

Try this homemade recipe today and be sure to do it on Valentine’s Day. For more great beauty advice, follow Fromgirltogirl on Facebook ( message us if you would like an order of our all natural exfoliation scrubs). I make them by the week using a variety of natural products.
