VOTE Kim Morton

On Saturday, March 3rd the DC Democratic Party will hold the 2012 Pre-Presidential Primary Delegate Selection Caucus at UDC’s Auditorium, building 46. This is your opportunity to vote for the District-Level Delegates and Alternates who will represent DC and the Democratic Presidential Nominee President Barack Obama at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Please come out and support my friend Kim Morton. Kim has long been active in the Democratic Party and worked tirelessly to elect President (then Senator) Obama in 2008. She is committed to re-electing President Obama this year.

As the Chair of DC for Obama, a local grassroots organization, Kim coordinated trips to Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and South Carolina for campaign volunteers and knocked on doors alongside many of you. She organized voter registration drives and outreach for the Obama Campaign in DC and served on the National Advance Team for the Obama/Biden Campaign. Kim was also proud to serve as an Events Coordinator on the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

Kim’s commitment to this President and the Democratic Party is unyielding. For this, she has earned the respect of her peers in the Democratic Party.

As a delegate, Kim will work on behalf of DC voters to ensure that the Democratic Party and its leadership keep their commitment to DC voting rights and Statehood. She takes seriously her responsibility to you and will communicate your values and priorities to the party leadership and other delegates to the Convention.

Kim is active in many other organizations as well. They are:
