October Silent Auction to Support Breast Care for Washington's services of breast health education, screening and diagnostic mammograms, biopsies, and patient navigation services for treatment for anyone in the Washington DC Metro area who comes to Atlantic Street in Ward 8 or on the Mammovan.

It’s the first day of Fall this week and many non-profits and organizations are having Silent Auctions in October.

Support Breast Care for Washington’s services of breast health education, screening and diagnostic mammograms, biopsies, and patient navigation services for treatment for anyone in the Washington DC Metro area who comes to Atlantic Street in Ward 8 or on the Mammovan, whether they’re insured, uninsured, or underinsured.

The non-profit is having a virtual and live Silent Auction October 12!

You can access the auction site by choosing the View Auction Items button at the bottom of the right-hand menu on the Event page.

More items will be added right up Until October 1, when bidding starts.

Sports memorabilia, sporting events tickets, jewelry, and gift cards for various places, services, and items were popular items last year.

Last year The Power of Pink event raised more than $150,000 from sponsorships alone, with another $20,000 from ticket sales and the Silent Auction!

Breast Care for Washington new Mobile Mammography Program is here

Breast Care for Washington is announcing the arrival of its new Mobile Mammography Program. Because of your donations, the non-profit has a fully equipped mobile mammography vehicle by RAD AID International to serve the community. Breast Care for Washington will be able to bring state of the art 3D mammography to more women  than ever in the Washington,DC metro area.

Learn about the mobile mammography vehicle and celebrate this exciting milestone at the Mobile Program Ribbon Cutting and Launch on Wednesday June 12th at 10:00 am at 4 Atlantic Street SW, Washington DC.  There will be a short program, tours and a reception as they roll out the pink carpet for this wonderful new addition.
