New report: Best Coffee Cities in America (2023)

With National Coffee Day around the corner, personal-finance website WalletHub this week released its report on 2023’s Best Coffee Cities in America and its list of  top coffee deals and discounts offered by retailers during the holiday.

To determine the best local coffee scenes in America, WalletHub compared the 100 largest cities across 12 key indicators of a strong coffee culture. The data set ranges from coffee shops, coffee houses and cafés per capita to the average price per pack of coffee.

“The main coffee and tea trends for 2023 include flavored roasts and mixing with other foods and drinks, such as sweets and soda. There seems to be more demand for smaller private brands. Finally, the RTD (ready-to-drink) versions that can be grabbed on the go, such as cold tea or coffee, continue to be the choice of many young consumers. People are also learning recipes from online communities and appreciate the adventure of trying to make their own very special coffee.”
