Love lighting. Most Romantic U.S. States new study reveals.

New research has revealed that New Jersey takes the crown as the most romantic area in the USA.

Most Romantic U.S. States and Least Romantic U.S. States.
New study reveals the top 10 most romantic U.S. states New Jersey takes the top spot for the most romantic state in the U.S Google Trends data was used to discover which areas had the highest interest in romance such as ‘flower delivery,’ and ‘how to find my perfect match ‘South Dakota’ is revealed to be the least romantic area in the USA.
Residents of this area are aiming to ‘steal some hearts’ with the most searches for romantic gestures compared with any other U.S. state.  Sex experts at Delicto.com analyzed Google Trends to discover the level of interest in each U.S. area for various search terms including ‘how to be romantic,’,‘buy flowers near me,’ and ‘date night ideas’ to determine which ones had the highest interest overall.

Most Romantic U.S. States Rank State Total Volume /100k

Earning the title for the most romantic area in the U.S. is New Jersey, with an average combined search score of 767 romantic searches per 100,000 people. The area has a particularly high interest for ‘Romantic restaurants’, as well as a large number of searches for ‘date ideas’ and ‘florist near me.’

In second place is Massachusetts taking an average score of 709 ‘romantic’ searches per 100,000 people. The top three searched for terms in this state were ‘florist near me’, ‘romantic restaurants’ and ‘flower delivery.’

Taking home, a bronze medal, is Delaware with an average score of 707, with residents searching the most for ‘florist near me’ and ‘date ideas.’

New York comes in as the fourth most romantic state in the U.S. with a score of 695 romantic searches per 100,000 people. This state sees huge interest in ‘florist delivery’ and ‘romantic restaurants’. It also sees the most searches compared with any other state for ‘romantic trips.’

Residents of this area are either looking to impress that special someone or have some making-up to do.

Whilst Rhode Island is 45 times smaller than New York, it places just below them on the list of the most romantic states with an average score of 675 per 100,000 people – the area is most interested in flower deliveries, perhaps ordering to someone’s place of work or their home, a classic movie romantic gesture.

In sixth place is Virginia, with an average score of 668. Compared with all other US states, Virginia sees the third most Google searches for the term ‘how to find my perfect match’. Following behind Virginia is Maryland in seventh place with an average score of 645 per 100,000 people.

This state has residents most interested in new date ideas and purchasing flowers for that special someone.  With 641 romantic searches per 100,000 people, per month, is North Carolina, putting them in eighth place. This area already has people taking the plunge into a lifelong commitment with huge searches for ‘wedding venue near me.’

Coming in as the ninth most romantic state is Pennsylvania. Residents in this state are most interested in romantic restaurants and have the fourth highest of all states searches for ‘date ideas near me.’ This state’s total combined score is 634 searches per 100,000 people.

Last but not least is Florida taking the tenth spot and earning a score of 620. Florida has the highest monthly Google search volume for the term ‘romantic restaurants near me’ as well as the third highest search for ‘romantic date ideas and ‘romantic wedding vows.’

On the opposite end of the scale is South Dakota coming in as the least romantic state in the U.S. with a score of only 206 searches per 100,000 people.

A spokesperson from Delicto.com has commented:
“Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, with millions of people carrying out romantic gestures across the globe; however, this research highlights those U.S. states where residents are seeking to be romantic all year round.

On average, South Dakota sees 570 fewer romantic Google searches per 100,000 people, per month than New Jersey. These huge disparities across the country show that romance is not as much of a priority in some areas compared with others. Whilst romance is instilled into us with every romantic movie, it is important that these acts are not taken as your only interpretation of how a relationship works.

Understanding your partner’s love language for example, as developed by Gary Chapman, will help you to truly connect with how they want to be loved.”

This research was carried out by delicto.com, an information website on exploring pleasure, product reviews, how-to guides and a wide selection of carefully curated sex toys and accessories.

Cory Booker For Senate: The Comeback of Do Something Politics

 http://cor.bo/votebooker

By Briana Booker

Cory Booker is the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey. He has been Mayor since 2006. Now in 2013, Cory Booker is taking a shot at being the Senator of New Jersey.

What are my thoughts on Cory Booker for Senate?

I think he would be a hell of a Senator.  Better yet, I think someday he would make hell of a President ( if he decided to take on that level of responsibility).

I think Cory Booker would make an excellent Senator for a variety of reasons but my main reason for believing in his capabilities comes down to two things.

1. He is a hard worker.  2. He leads with his good intentions.

I like to call him the Do Something dude.

I still remember at Cornell University’s 2013 graduation his Do Something speech. It was powerful. It was inspiring. It was humorous.

Cory Booker allows the goodness in his soul to help him lead while empowering his community.

I’m not saying he is perfect. None of us are perfect.

But the care he demonstrates for all kinds of people is a rarity in Today’s politics.

Cory Booker is one of those Do Something politicians that inspire citizens to do something too. That’s powerful to me. That’s what real leaders do.

Here’s what I like about Cory Booker and his Do Something politics:

  1.  He speaks to the youth, urban youth, to tell them of the importance of a quality education.  Cory Booker has helped raise funds to improve the quality of education for urban youth. Yes, this includes having Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, offer New Jersey city schools a $100 million matching grant. There’s something intriguing about a man not afraid to stand up for universal education. Cory wants to give every child the opportunity, the resources to excel.
  2. Cory Booker is okay running into burning buildings to save lives. How many politicians do we know run into burning buildings to save lives? Now, how many politicians can we name that would trample people to save their own lives from a burning building? I rest my case.
  3.  Cory cares about the community he serves. He shovels snow for citizens. He  asks ” What can I do to make things better?”  When Cory Booker says he is going to do something, you can count on him to do it or die trying. He simply has that political courage and authentic leadership that moves people to do better.
  4. He goes on hunger strikes and lived on food stamps for a week to get his point across that people matter. That’s humbling.
  5. Cory is a highly accessible politician. He is a real political activist and promotes the rest of us to do the same because he leads by example. I’m not even from New Jersey and I’m impressed by his leadership. He makes me want to do good when I wake up in the morning. We need more Cory Bookers in Congress.

Bottom line: Cory Booker is the missing puzzle piece Washington needs.

The Democratic primary voting is Tuesday August 13th! My soul tells me Cory Booker is the man for the job. Booker has a way of getting things done. That’s what Bookers do. I know because I’m a Booker too.

Cory is more than worthy of being New Jersey’s next U.S. Senator. Do Something and vote Cory Booker for Senator. He won’t disappoint.
