For the hip hop fans, you cannot miss the blistering hip hop coming out of Philadelphia. A hip hop artist by the name Nave has a new album out called Espresso. Nave’s style is similar to hip hop artists like Kendrick Lamar and Drake. You may have seen Nave perform at the World Cafe Live venues in Philadelphia as well as Delaware. Or you may know him as a veteran of the BKS1 Radio BBQ in New Jersey.

Nave is going places and he is taking the world of hip hop with him. When listening to the album Espresso you’ll hear brilliance on every track. The hip hop lyrics tell listeners about the human condition and it’s enough to hook even the casual hip hop fans will find themselves enjoying the record Espresso because Nave makes listeners aware of the importance of hip hop in its modern context as he raps against pounding rhythms. Check out his new single “Copy That” and watch his music video the “Cosby Kids.” 

Note: Nave wrote the “Cosby Kids” before the Cosby Scandal went public. So the scandal is not addressed in the song.
