 Recently a good friend put me onto a Spanish restaurant called Lauriol Plaza. Before going I did not know much about the restaurant. The word around Washington, DC is that it is one of the best Mexican food choices and one of the best Spanish restaurants…period.

 After going to Lauriol Plaza I can testify that it is all these traits and more! Beautiful scenery, great hospitality and conveniently near metro routes as well as parking available directly at the restaurant!

I am a huge fan of guacamole these days.This restaurant makes fresh guacamole and the best tortilla chips ever! It is the slightly more upscale version of Chiptole ( which I adore very much)!

I highly recommend the restaurant! And the best part about Lauriol Plaza is that it has a carry out option!
