 In 2007 I heard of an Rhythm and Blues artist named Natasha Ramos. Ramos was discovered by recording artist, producer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams of the group N.E.R.D.S . I am surprised Ramos has not become mainstream in the year 2010. But, anything is possible. Check out this jazzy tune called Last Night, i think it is great!
