About Suki Rae
Classically trained flutist/singer/songwriter Suki Rae has performed for over 25 years. She has won many awards; been musician in residence in eight locations including Israel and Spain; and featured on radio and TV. She has also acted, written and directed in theater and film. She wrote and directed her own autobiographical muse-ical at the Writer’s Voice in NYC, and through a grant from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council produced a Peace Concert of her original music as well as the original songs of teenagers at St. Marks Church. Suki Rae has performed in venues ranging from Alice Tully Hall to the Jerusalem Women’s Music Festival. She was featured in the documentary “Dig your Soul on the Streets” with the rock band OASIS.
