pop music artist Zosia supports the me too movement
In need of some dark-pop music? Check out this new single, ‘Overthrown’ from dark-pop music artist Zosia. It was released via The Line of Best Fit. The song is a poignant product of Zosia’s frustration with society’s treatment of sexual assault victims. The single details her own struggle of battling shame and issues of self-worth after being a victim of sexual assault. Zosia has received critical acclaim and she has been lauded by Live Nation as “one to watch.”
Zosia confides, “As a victim myself, I have spent my life battling shame and issues of self-worth. I was depressed and angry for every victim who has faced and will face this sort of dismissal of their pain.” Zosia has succeeded in composing a beautifully raw anthem that embodies the range of emotions that so many women deal with on a daily basis. “We don’t have to be either vulnerable or strong; vulnerability is just another form of strength” explains Zosia.
