Pop star Blakeley has a single called “Caffeine & Nicotine,” out and it’s definitely worth a listen. The single has a bouncy variant of electronic rock and gritty thematic elements. If you enjoy bubblegum pop and surf rock, you’ll appreciate this track. It reminds me of chilling in an alternative culture, coffee shop, quintessentially Brooklyn. And it gets better. Blakeley has a new EP coming out this winter. Fromgirltogirl highly recommends checking it out if you are someone that is looking for an EP to vibe to that isn’t oppressive or over the top topics. The Stangs band from Wales. — The brit rock band the Stangs debut their EP American Sessions. Rock band members: Graeme Heath – Guitar/Vocals, Josh Lomas – Bass, and Glenn Alcock – Drums are pictured.

Spring officially starts this week and with a start of a new season, plenty of new music is out. A new music video and single is out from New Jersey pop artist Carolyn Marie entitled “Wanna Be Cool.” You can watch here:

From the fashion to killer dance moves, Fromgirltogirl loves this new music video. It has a bit of a 90’s feel that makes us nostalgic and definitely a tune to add to your workout routine or dance class. It is also nice to watch a music video with plenty of diversity.

This smooth, spellbinding video highlights the classic human struggle of fitting in and brilliantly showcases Carolyn Marie and her supporting dancers’ mesmerizing dance talent. The video is shot in a warehouse with a call-to-action to not trust thoughts at 3am.
