Although the USA soccer (futbol) team was down two goals and facing a sudden end to the World Cup, Landon Donovan became a fearless leader and turned around the match!
Donovan scoring early in the second half and Michael Bradley allowing the tie to happen in a second half comeback allowed the final score to be 2-2 between the USA and Slovenia. This final score was based on a controversial call, which denied the USA a comeback win!
In other words, chances of the USA team advancing are kept alive! Yes, the grass is still growing! Let’s get this USA!
