Here at Fromgirltogirl we are ecstatic to announce that Dr.Aruna Nathan is now our regular Practical Primary Care columnist. She is a board certified Internal Medicine physician and we are happy to have her. Dr. Aruna Nathan is practicing in Montgomery County Maryland with over 15 years of experience.

She received her training at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and Dr. Aruna Nathan has served as the Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.

She is an award-winning Internal Medicine physician, receiving prestigious awards such as the John H. Mulholland Research Award for Outstanding Research. Dr. Aruna Nathan has her own Primary Care practice, focusing on management of chronic complex medical conditions in adults.

She serves patients from Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. Dr. Aruna Nathan also has privileges at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda Maryland. Her primary care motto is “ effective healthcare and transparency in medical management incorporating proven scientific data.” Her patients absolutely love her and they have nominated her for awards such as the Patients’ Chocie Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition. She has one these awards on multiple occasions.
