[Report ] Over 3 in 5 Americans are Learning Languages on the Phone

Playing games on your phone or on a tablet is not an unique phenomenon. People download mobile apps and games to give them something to do while they wait in line or to distract them during a long car ride.

Almost all (93%) Americans regularly play games on their phones, tablets or computers. According to a new study, many Americans are putting that screen time to good use through educational games and apps. In fact, ( 96%) say certain games help keep minds sharp and can help exercise your brain! The number one skill people strengthen through games is their memory. This is followed by critical thinking skills, language skills, time management skills and vocabulary skills.

When it comes to a foreign language, 63% of Americans say they are trying to learn a new language or strengthen their foreign language skills.
