Cancer Survivors Day: Gearing Up for 2015 Ride to Conquer Cancer

Cancer Survivors Day Stories

National Cancer Survivors Week is truly a celebration of life. This week I had the opportunity to share music, food and conversation with cancer survivors, caregivers, family members, and friends to share music, food and great conversation.

If you are fighting cancer or your life has been touched by cancer in any shape or form, know that life is just as inspiring and rewarding after beating cancer.

Here are pictures from “Seeing the bigger Picture”, a free event for cancer survivors and their loved ones hosted by Johns Hopkins affiliate Suburban Hospital:

Thank you to all who attended Suburban Hospital ‘s Seeing the Bigger Picture on Thursday, a free event celebrating life…

As we celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day, I hope you will join me in sponsoring causes that help drive cancer research forward.

Please consider sponsoring Team Suburban in the September Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 2-day, 150 mile ride raising money for cancer research and care right here in our community.

In 2014, Team Suburban raised $121,672.47 for Ride to Conquer Cancer for a total of $2.6 million in the Capital Region. We hope to exceed that goal this September.

Sponsor Team Suburban today ( I will share stories, photos and videos in the upcoming weeks to give you an inside look on preparing for the Ride):
