Fromgirltogirl teams up with the Department of Defense

The civilian population has been undergoing healthcare reform for the past few years. Never in a million years did I think Fromgirltogirl would be involved in healthcare reform, but for the government of the United States…it’s surreal.

I am excited to learn and be involved in Public Relations and Digital Marketing efforts for the Defense Health Agency of the Department of Defense (DoD). My goal is to help make the Armed Force Health Surveillance Branch become the central epidemiological resource and global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces as the entire military health system undergoes healthcare reform. The AFHSB’s military service and federal liaison officers provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive infectious disease surveillance information to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.
