As a twenty something, I’m in the midst of growing into my full self.
I feel good about myself & focused on my dreams.
Feeling good about myself made someone I think is an outstanding man keep his eyes on me.
I didn’t know at the time but feeling great about myself made him and other people in my life feel great about me. My actions made the same people feel great about themselves as well. All this positive energy happened because I learned to focus on myself and identify truly why I wasted years trying to please emotionally abusive / manipulative people. Yes, 1 included being in an emotionally abusive/controlling situation with a man ( I wasted years of life waiting for him to stand up as a real man. Took God to get me away from that abuse) prior to dating the wonderful man God sent for me. I don’t have to share. I’m not mistreated. I’m not humiliated. I’m not cheated on.
And that in itself is one of many reasons I praise the Lord for getting me through good and bad times in my life.
Slowly but surely people bringing negative energy to my life were removed. And these positive people replaced the negative people.
Long story short: Find ways to feel good about yourself everyday. This will bring positive things/people into your life.
A woman can be as emotional as she pleases. It’s how she expresses those emotions whether it will help her increase her attractiveness or decrease it.
I’ve been on both sides of the equation but I’m really liking the positive.

1. Be clear about what you want and expect from those in your life in a non-hostile way.
2. Identify why you are not satisfied with certain people in your life. Can these relationships be healed?

This is the 12 year anniversary of 9/11. It’s a day where we reflect on the lives lost. We reflect on the courage of those that saved lives and sacrificed their own lives to save others.
When humanity is connected/united, God is always present. Instead of feeling hate or anger to one group or the other, let us take the time to paint with all the colors of the wind.
We are all human. We feel pain. We feel sadness. We also know how to feel love and give love. Let us embrace the later. Let us pray for forgiveness and healing.

Only at 4:30 am can Lord wake me out of my slumber with a smile on my soul, not my face.
Not only that … But I lifted my head and said ain’t The Lord so good. It just came out.
Oh the things I saw made my soul rejoice.
I don’t know where it came from but it was simply beautiful.
The Lord is so good! I just had a wonderful dream where I was looking for Alex at a family reunion. Or I thought it was a family reunion. I had a purple gown on and heels.
I came around some spiral steps in a basement where people somehow related to me were and I saw a beautiful smile I haven’t seen in a long while.
Took my breath away. He stood up.
My brother Anthony came and hugged me. And trust me, I needed that hug. I didn’t let go.
The Lord got me out of my bed. And I smiled.
I don’t know what to say. I just know The Lord is so good.
